Meet Dr. Esser
I am a women’s health care provider who strives to solve my patient’s medical issues through a mixed traditional and holistic approach – using medicine and procedures when needed, but also incorporating supplements, exercise, and diet when appropriate. I believe that women don’t have to accept medical issues that can be treated and eliminated. By offering the newest therapies and procedures that allow renewal and regeneration, I help women turn back the clock and live life to the fullest. My clinic specializes in menopausal and perimenopausal health. I am the only gynecologist in the region specializing in the menopausal transition.
I received my undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and completed my Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine – graduating in the top 5% of my class. I am Board-certified in Gynecology and am affiliated with Virgina Mason Franciscan Health, St. Michael Medical Center. I have performed research on HPV (human papilloma virus) and Stress Incontinence. I no longer care for pregnant women.
My mother was also a gynecologist, and as a female gynecologist myself, I recognize the importance of providing high-quality, personalized care to women of all ages. I started practicing gynecology in Silverdale, August of 1997, and have recently relocated to Gig Harbor. My practice is a solo practice – I believe that personal care deserves a personal approach that is difficult to find in large group practices. Our office is warm and welcoming!
